Our company, Fasa Steel Complex Company(FASCO)   has the below mentioned Plant Data.

The Plant is located in southern Iranian Fars province, in South East direction some 135Km far from provincial capital city Shiraz in the Free Economic Zone of the Fasa city.

Rail road network from Shiraz to Iranian sea port of Bandar Abbas In Persian Gulf by passes our site. An allocated train loading and unloading facility will be constructed for material transportation on this rail road.  

Our site is almost 400 Km far from Bandar Abbas in Persian Gulf on the major inter province road and about 300 Km far from Assaluie Energy Free Zone in Persian Gulf as well.

We have an allocated Iron Ore mine with sufficient mineral reserve and iron concentration is 64% and 140Km far from the plant and another extra advantage of governmental obligation of supplying  of iron ore from Gol Gohar mine in periods of time that our own mine has not been operative. 

Formal approval and agreement to establish Steel production plant with the following capacities.

 

Iron Ore Concentration production unit with capacity 2,500,000 Metric Ton Annum

Pelletizing unit with capacity 2,500,000 Metric Ton Annum – Future.

DRI Unit with capacity 1,700,000 Metric Ton Annum.

Steel making unit with capacity 1,500,000 Metric Ton Annum.

Steel plate making unit with capacity 1,500,000 Metric Ton Annum – Future.

Governmental recognizance letter of supplying sweet water with volume of 3,000,000 Cubic Meter per year.

Governmental recognizance letter of supplying Power of 150 Mw with very low price.

Governmental recognizance letter of supplying 438,000,000 Cubic Meter Annum ( approximately 50,000 Cubic Meter Per Hour) fuel gas of with a very low price of  $0.81 per MMBTU.

An already acquired land with area equal to 1000 Hectares.

Right now we have at hand all needed governmental authorization mandates to establish the Steel Concentration production facilities. We are rendering Engineering activities of project and commenced tenders to award execution of major plants to contractors on EPC format. Meanwhile we have started mobilization , site preparation earth work and construction of general office buildings.

As per above mentioned advantages the plant would be very profitable and feasible as far as economic point of view is concerned. So any reinforcement of project financing will accelerate the progress.
